Applications are now available for the local ETC and national FRED Scholarships. The $500 ETC Scholarship is awarded annually to one graduating senior from each of the following local area high schools: East Central, Batesville, Greensburg, Oldenburg Academy, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, North Decatur, and Franklin County. Our past recipients have demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement, extra-curricular activity, and local community involvement.

ETC scholarship applications must be submitted to ETC (Attn: Anita Fledderman) by April 12, 2010.

Each year, ETC also sponsors four local high school senior for the FRED (the Foundation for Rural Education and Development) Scholarship, awarded to rural America's best and brightest students. FRED Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 and awarded to over 50 students across America annually.
